Cookie Policy

We use as few cookies as we can get away with. This page lists every one of them, what it does, and how to turn the optional ones off.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make a site work at all — remembering that you are signed in, for example. Others are optional, and tell the site's owners how the site is being used.
We also use your browser's local storage, which works much like a cookie. Everything in this policy applies equally to it.
2. Your choice
The first time you visit, we ask whether you are happy for us to use analytics cookies. Nothing optional is set until you say yes. If you decline, or simply close the banner, we set only the cookies that are strictly necessary — and the site works exactly the same.
Declining is as easy as accepting: both are a single click, given equal prominence. You can change your mind at any time using the link at the end of this page.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to function or to keep it secure. They cannot be switched off, and under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they do not require consent.

The Clerk cookies are only meaningful once you have an account. Cloudflare's are set when you submit the waitlist form.
4. Analytics cookies — optional
These are only set if you agree. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how people use the site: which pages get visited, where people lose interest, and whether the signup form is working. It tells us what to fix.

We have configured PostHog so that it does not record your keystrokes, the contents of form fields, or the text on the pages you view. We do not use it for advertising, and PostHog does not sell or share the data with anyone.
If you decline, PostHog is not loaded at all — no cookie is set and no data leaves your browser.
5. What we do not use
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not embed tracking pixels from social networks. We do not allow third parties to track you across other websites, and we do not sell data to data brokers.
Links to our social media accounts are ordinary links — they set nothing until you click them and arrive at that company's own site, where their policies apply.
6. Local storage
Alongside cookies we store a couple of small items in your browser. They stay on your device and are not sent to us as you browse.
- Your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every page.
- PostHog's visitor identifier, if you accepted analytics.
- For business users, an unfinished advert's draft reference, so you do not lose work if you navigate away.
7. Changing your mind
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the link below. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, though blocking all cookies will stop you signing in.
Browser instructions: Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies. Safari — Settings › Privacy. Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security. Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as declining analytics.
